Our amazing brother, so sadly missed
Ben was an amazing person I feel so proud he did so much with his life. He was an amazing brother, and always there when you needed him, even though he was on the other side of the world, he would always make time to chat.
I’m so glad he found happiness in his spiritual home, Australia, such a positive person, the place suited him perfectly. With his soulmate Carolyn. It was lovely to see him so happy.
And especially after mum began to get worse with her Parkinson’s, he and his wife Carolyn, were completely committed to coming to the UK as often as they could. During visits Ben did loads to help mum and dad, DIY, gardening, emotional support. He understood our dad’s ways and was patient and firm in equal measures. Through all this would always make time for his friends in the UK.
I can’t believe he’s gone, I will miss him so much.
Ben was a great guy. It was a pleasure to spend so many amazing memories with him back in the nineties. Going to gigs and pubs, being naughty and having fun.To reconnect with him after so many years in around 2015 was amazing.Thanks for the memories Ben.
The walk in Holywell Dene I won’t forget.
