Since we were young.
I can’t even remember how I met Ben but he’s been a great friend for many years. I couldn’t find a photograph of him, although I know I have some. A friend said that in our youth we were probably too busy having fun to take many. I think he’s right. Ben said recently that he was missing our annual walk in Holywell Dene and today I went there to remember Ben and I took this photograph. I’ve been so happy to see Ben find his niche in Australia. His great job, beautiful wife and becoming a proud Dad to his lovely daughter. It’s easy for friendships to slip as people grow older and move away but Ben never let that happen. He was always great at keeping in touch. I’ll really miss him but am also grateful to have had such a lovely friend.
